Eyes useless.
Feel rough rock walls,
both sides, closing in?

Can’t think clearly.
Stale,fetid air, no sound.
Heavy wet silence.

Lost, searching.
Feeling along the right-hand wall.
Shuffling along.
Slowly.
Now a scraping…
